When our body is experiencing physical symptoms of stress, it’s likely that our nervous system is undergoing stress as well. Stress manifests in many forms in our physical and energetic bodies. Muscular tension, achy or stiff joints, high blood pressure, forgetfulness or struggling with staying focused, to name a few, but the list goes on.
Our external environment & experiences reflect our internal state. Yin Yoga ushers in stillness to reflect on external causes and invites us to re-organize ourselves. The practice of Yin supports and encourages a calm, focused and content mind and over time an increased range of movement in the physical body.
